Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to the play school as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009 and married at a civil wedding ceremony in the month of December in that same year. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk is well-known for her role on television as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by the Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk was pregnant during shooting the final season of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of the 6th of January, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production was underway for Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for the Fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its popularity on social media has earned it a large online fan base.
