Sutton Foster was a Tony Award winner for her Tony Award-winning performance as Anything Goes in Thoroughly Modern Millie and as a character in Little Women. The first time she appeared on television in Star Search at age 15 She has also been seen in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU as well as Royal Pains. as a solo performer, Sutton has performed across the United States in addition to internationally together with their musical director Michael Rafter... performing songs from her first solo CD "Wish" and the follow-up CD "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." The singer has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub and many others. Ball State University conferred her with an honorary doctorate in 2011. Alongside being a professor and advisor in the Department of Theatre and Dance, she was also awarded this degree by Ball State University. In March of 2015, she started playing the role of "Younger" in TVLand the new TV show created by Darren Star.
